THE MIRROR!!!!!

We look in the mirror and often get confused about who we are. Today I realized that I am a child of the utmost high Jesus Christ and I have a purpose in life. My purpose is to become the great man that he has written me to be. As a child dealing with the lost of a mother and the absence of a father I was confused. Living in this confused shell known as my body, I began to do harm to my spirit and soul that this shell housed. God often tried to reach me, but I never listen trying to walk in his path was never easy. I often fall and couldn’t seem to lift myself up, God challenged me to try. Today I can say that I reached out for God’s arm and he embraced me into his arms. I was unable to sleep last night I kept feeling something on my heart. This unexplainable emotion was telling me to give my heart and soul to God and that I already knew what to say. I denied the voice, but it made me feel like denial was not the answer and that my time was know. I thought about creeping back into my old ways, but something kept telling me my time is know surrender. I could feel it in my soul, this unspoken voice. At 5:30am I lay in bed and out spoke these words !God I need you to come into my life, take away my sin and the sin that lays in my body. Take away the thoughts that go against you and your word, and fill me with your love and strength. I am your child and, I know you will bless me with long life and freedom from my past pain. See I have realized that I am no longer that 6 year old little boy anymore, I am a 22 year old man and able to understand god unconditional love for me. Today I have officially given my life to Christ and its true what they say you can be reborn in his name.
